The story follows Shankar Roy Chowdhury, a young Bengali man who dreams of exploring the world. He travels to Africa in search of adventure and finds himself in the middle of the wild, untamed jungles. Alongside Portuguese explorer Diego Alvarez, Shankar embarks on a thrilling quest to find the legendary diamond mines of Chander Pahar.

Their journey is filled with deadly challenges, including attacks by wild animals, encounters with hostile tribes, and the terrifying Bunyip, a mythical monster said to guard the hidden treasures.
